The initial cleaning estimate is a standard that we require for all homes that we clean for the first time as well as homes that have been cleaned in the past but more than a month has lapsed. It takes more time to clean a home that has not had a recent, regular, professional cleaning. This ensures that we have the proper resources to get your home up to the highest standard of cleanliness that we are committed to providing. We offer deeply discounted rates for recurrent services on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
No. The only contract you sign is your agreement to pay for services rendered on your cleaning day. All Neighbor Cleaning services are contract-free! Although we would not recommend it, you are free to terminate services whenever you want simply by calling us to let us know.
Not necessarily. We can provide cleaning services in your home whether you are at home or away. If you should happen to be away, we ask that you provide a way to access your home to prevent a lock out.
We aim to treat every home with extra care and respect. We are fully insured to protect against loss or damage so when an accident happens as they sometimes do, we will take the necessary steps to repair the damage.
Not a problem. Please bring it to our attention by the end of the next business day following your cleaning. We will do our best to make the necessary corrections within the following 24 hours at no additional charge. We believe in rewarding exceptional work, too! We offer performance-based compensation, so if our team does an outstanding cleaning job, please share it in a review.
Scheduling conflicts and illness are unpredictable and can be difficult to plan around. We strive to provide consistent high quality cleaning services with the same friendly and familiar faces with as little disruption as possible.
It’s not necessary. We can easily clean around pets if they don’t mind seeing new faces in their home. In the event of your absence on a cleaning day and your pets are in the home, please alert the cleaning crew on how to proceed upon entrance to your home.

Actually, yes. It would be extremely helpful to do the following before the cleaning crew arrives:
- Make sure they have proper access to your home whether by key or code.
- If there is an alarm system in place, please turn off or disarm.
- Clutter is okay! We get it, but excessive clutter adds to cleaning time and may incur additional charges.
- If there are any items that are valuable or irreplaceable even, store them out of sight or locked away.
